Glenfield's Welcome Tree gets lit in time for Christmas

I am pleased to advise that the Glenfield’s Welcome Tree Lighting Project in Mountain Creek has now been completed with the lights going on 2 minutes  ahead of schedule at 6:28pm last night. The welcome tree lighting has been a huge success for the local neighbourhood watch group and surrounding community.

The project included the installation of a new Energex supply point, ground mounted metered switchboard and the under boring of power and comms conduits and cables across Glenfield’s Blvd, enabling power to light up the new fairy lights wrapping around the main large tree within the main roundabout. Additional power and comms conduits have also be installed to allow for future RGBW up lights within the roundabout and surrounding two wall signage areas.

The large hedge within the roundabout and the large hedge on the southern outside of the roundabout has also been removed in collaboration with our internal Parks & Gardens team.
